Alexandre Gama And His Career History
Alexandre Gama is a 59-year-old Entrepreneur from Brazil. He is an experienced professional specializing in communications and advertising. In 1999, Gama founded Neogama, the first advertising agency in Brazil. In the firm, he holds the positions of both CEO and CCO. He is the only Brazilian member in the Public Group Global Creative Board. Gama pursued his degree in Advertising and communications at Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation and proceeded to Standard Ogilvy and Mather in 1982 where his career journey started. He then joined DM9 in 1990 where he worked as a Copywriter and Creative Director for four years. It is then that he was the most awarded Brazilian copywriter. Gama also worked with Almap BBDO & Young and Rubicam.
In 2002, Gama associated Neogama with BBH and was named the Agency of the year. In 2003 Neogama won two Golden Lions. Gama was nominated as one of the seven great professionals. He won the Entrepreneur of the year in 2007.He became a board member of ABAP in 2012.Gama created the Johnnie Walker Rock Giant Campaign in 2013.In 2015 his agency won a Golden Lion for the Mix Brazil Festival for cultural and sexual diversity campaign. Apart from Advertising, Gama also ventured into music by developing projects such as VIOLAB, which was launched in 2014.
