Ryan Seacrest is widely recognized for hosting “American Idol” in addition to being a host and executive producer for ABC’s New Year’s Eve program “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.” Not enough? He’s also recently joined the team of “Live,” co-hosting with Kelly Ripa.
Seacrest also hosts a radio show, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” a morning drive show with national syndication and the “E! Live from the Red Carpet” award show.
In 2006, Ryan created an entertainment production company, RSP (Ryan Seacrest Productions) which produces series such as “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Shahs of Sunset,” “I Love Kellie Pickler,” and “Shades of Blue,” which stars Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.
Ryan Seacrest has flexed his entrepreneurial expertise and invested in media/entertainment companies such as Civic Entertainment Group, Pinterest, and DigiTour Media. He also has an association with a news media company through Seacrest Global Group and a cable network, AXS TV.
In 2014, Seacrest entered into a partnership with Macy’s to roll out a menswear and accessories line and was received as one of the most successful menswear launches that has been offered. Seacrest also plans to launch “Polished,” a men’s skincare company with well-known dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer.
In addition to his many entrepreneurial endeavors, he also serves as Chairman of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF), which has recently moved its headquarters to Nashville, TN. Since its inception in 2009, RSF has established Seacrest Studios in pediatric hospitals all over the United States. The purpose of these studios is to inspire the children who are patients there to creatively explore the facets of radio, television and new media. The Foundation has also arranged for hundreds of celebrities to visit patients including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Usher, Ed Sheeran and many others. More about this worthy foundation can be found at their website ryanseacrestfoundation.org.
