Neurocore’s Mission to Solve Mental Health Ailments
The human brain is a crucial organ as it is the one behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It controls what we do and says all the time. As such, its performance is very crucial to our daily lives. Having a stronger brain enables one to make better decisions, and eventually a better life. Scientists have discovered that the mind is not rigid; it can be trained in the desired way to achieve target results. Recent research showed that even in athletes, the brain activity has a lot to do with performance compared to talent and training. Professional teams are now incorporating a brain training session in their practice. This enables them to track the alertness of the brain and monitor the stress levels.

Neurocore has been using this advanced knowledge to improve on the brain functioning and treat various brain disorders such as depression, migraines, anxiety, ADHD and ASD. They have Neurocore brain performance centers whose core program is to address the symptoms presented using EEG technology, Neurofeedback, and brain mapping. They also have a memory boot camp program aimed at monitoring the memory of an aging brain. Their procedures are quite secure in that they perform comprehensive tests to understand the ongoing in mind and then design a suitable program to train the brain to function better. Another test is conducted at the end to compare progress with how it was in the beginning.

In their 14 years of operation, Neurocore has grown to be a leader in neuroscience applications and now have eight brain performance centers in Florida and Michigan. Their new treatment techniques are showing better results compared to the traditional methods of treatment. One of the conditions that is being contained with much success is ADHD. ADHD is a hereditary trait that manifests in people when they are children by symptoms of hyperactivity and inattentiveness. Using neuroscience, Neurocore can find a unique brain activity that causes the ADHD, such as poor sleep, vision problems or other conditions. They then use Neurotherapy to treat it. The technique has been quite successful with 85% of the patients treated experiencing a reduction while 53% no longer exhibiting symptoms of ADHD.
